Is Wikipedia the 'Last Best Place on the Internet'?

Wikipedia is too Americanized. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page > .. that 53,000 people applied to live in a former New York City school? Pretty sure the same could be true of other schools in other countries. ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Did_you_know_archive >.. that a Michigan TV station once broadcast out of a former student cafeteria? > that construction of the Interstate 65 Tennessee River Bridge was halted each winter due to the presence of waterfowl? Pretty sure other places have tv stations and winter cold affects other construction projects. > ... that James Buchanan (pictured) helped to open talks over buying Alaska by spreading a rumor that Mormons were planning to emigrate there? ... that Lucy Daniels wrote and completed her debut novel while being treated at a psychiatric hospital? ... that Julie d'Aubigny, the most well-known 17th-century female fencer, fenced three noblemen in the same evening after kissing the lady whom they were courting? Yet another President and Alaska "fact". The volume of American nonsense highlights and articles of the day is disproportional.
