Oregon has lidar coverage for about 99% of the state (DOGAMI / Oregon Lidar Consortium, plus USGS 3DEP). That makes it possible to model winter sunlight on a specific property, including terrain shadows from ridges up to ~2 miles away. To try it: Terrain tools > Sunlight, then draw an area.
